Music at St. Mark’s
Ike Sturm's Jazz Mass April 28 & 29
The St. Mark’s Chancel Choir will join forces with a jazz ensemble, strings, and vocal soloist to present Ike Sturm’s Jazz Mass at St. Mark’s. A concert performance of the Mass will take place in the nave Saturday April 28th at 7:30pm and will include additional hymns and extended jazz improvisations. This will be the first ever performance of the work in the Washington, D.C. area. $10 suggested donation. The mass will also be performed during a combined 10am service on Sunday April 29th.
