Shrine Mont Annual Parish Retreat
Once a year, in early June, about 150-200 of us travel to Shrine Mont, the conference center for the Episcopal Dioceses of Virginia located in Orkney Springs. Not only is it a chance for the community to get away and to renew old acquaintances, but to meet new friends, and most importantly, to wrestle with timely themes in a series of large and small group settings. It is a gathering intended to renew the spiritual and social fabric of the parish.
Shrine Mont 2013: REGISTRATION IS OPEN for St. Mark's Annual Parish Retreat, JUNE 7, 8, & 9th at Shrine Mont, the Dioceses of Virginia's bucolic retreat center in Orkney Springs, Virginia. All are invited to join the fun. There are woods to hike in, a pool to swim in, time for fellowship, discussion and relaxation and special activities for youth.
Cost: Adults sharing a room: $190/person; Adult Share Dorm: $120/person; Adult Share Campy Building: $95/person. Room supplements are an additional $20. Teens 13-18: $85; Youth 8-12: $55; Children 0-7: $40.
Please print out a registration form; directions for returning it are on the form itself – and registration will take place in the Parish Hall after each morning service. DEADLINE FOR PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION IS MAY 26. No, really.
