Join the People’s March for Jobs, Justice, and the Climate

Apr 14, 2017

Join St. Mark’s clergy and parishioners in a march on April 29th in Washington, D.C. and across the country to stand up for our communities and climate. March for climate, jobs, and justice.

On the 10th Day of the Trump Administration, there will be a Climate March in Washington, DC. All those who care about the earth and our environment are called to show the world and our leaders that we will resist attacks on our people, our communities and our planet.

We will leave the church starting about 10:30 am to join in songs and reflections with others in the “Keepers of the Faith” contingent. At 12:30, the March starts up Pennsylvania Ave. Marchers from St Mark‘s are asked to sign up at the Climate Display in Baxter Hall or send an email to Betsy Agle (betsy@agle.net) to get last minute details by email.

Meet us in Baxter Hall after services on April 23 and at 8:30-11am on April 29 to make posters to carry on the march.
