Life, Community, and Faith (LCF)
Participation in LCF is an experience that most St. Mark’s parishioners have shared. LCF is an exploration of how our stories are reflected in the
Christian story, and the ways we seek to connect that story to ourselves, to others and to God.
LCF Fall 2008
Wednesdays: October 1 – December 10 (no class November 26)

Introduction to St. Mark's
This one-day class provides an overview of life at St. Mark’s. The class provides an opportunity
for newcomers to learn about significant aspects of our church life from the clergy and lay leaders
representing Christian Education, worship, outreach and the arts. Dinner provided, child care
upon request.

What’s an Episcopalian?
This course is designed to provide a lens through which class members examine the promises and commitments involved in becoming a confirmed
communicant in the Episcopal Church. The course also covers the history and traditions of the Episcopal Church and key elements of
our worship experience.
Winter 2009: Tuesdays, January 6, 13, 20, 27
Spring 2009: Tuesdays, May 5, 12, 9, 26
Baptism
This course is for parents who are planning to present their children for Baptism. Functionally oriented,
the class examines parenting issues that are posed by our Liturgy of Baptism.
